The countdown ending is groan-inducing, as are a number of things leading up to it.. A movie so full of ludicrous plotting and stilted exposition that it almost works as an accidental comedy.. There's no question where any of this is going, and although the chase can be entertaining at times, the movie is ultimately forgettable.. As nimble as she is onscreen as Kate Abbott, Jovovich can't evade the movie's dull obviousness and Philip Shelby's unintentionally comic script.. Amid the choppy action...
